The Kentucky Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) invites individuals with disabilities & family members to participate in a focus group to provide needed input for their up-coming 5 year state plan.

CCDD invests approximately $1.3 million each year to impact systems that effect people with disabilities. Over the years, the Council has created many demonstration projects, worked with policy makers, and collaborated with partners on different initiatives all designed to build capacity, advocacy and systems change.

They need your input! The direction CCDD will take over the next 5 years is largely based on what People with Disabilities and Families tell them. You are invited to participate in a focus group to share your experience and what you think the Council should prioritize.

Each focus group will consist of 8-12 people and will be facilitated by faculty from the University of Kentucky. The schedule is as follows:

June 1st Lexington
2 – 4 pm EST Individuals with Disabilities

June 3rd Louisville
9 – 11am EST Family Members

1 – 3pm EST Individuals with Disabilities

June 9th Louisa
10am – 12pm EST Family Members

1 – 3pm EST Individuals with Disabilities

June 10th Owensboro
10am – 12pm CST Family Members
1 – 3pm CST Individuals with Disabilities
