The Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services (DMS) invites you to learn more about the Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waiver Programs
Please join the Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services (DMS) for a Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program Town Hall meeting.
During the meetings, we will:
Share proposed updates and how they apply to the Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers
Share Navigant Consulting’s proposed recommendations for our program
Gather your thoughts and ideas about the recommendations
DMS will be releasing Navigant’s proposed recommendations prior to town halls. This will allow you to review the contents and be informed and ready to discuss the recommendations. Please know that you can come to the meeting to listen or you can be scheduled to speak. If you wish to speak, you will need to sign up for a time slot when you get to the meeting. You may speak for up to 3 minutes. Time slots will be available on a first come, first served basis.
We will hold 10 Town Hall meetings. You are welcome to attend more than one meeting, but please request to speak at only one meeting, allowing others the opportunity to speak. We want to hear from as many people as possible. If you want to speak at a meeting, you will need to give us your comments, in writing, prior to speaking. We will also have comment cards, to be shared at each meeting. Please complete a comment card at the meeting, if you want to share your comments in that manner.
