KY-SPIN, Inc. (Kentucky Special Parent Involvement Network) is a statewide 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The mission of KY-SPIN, Inc. is to link families and individuals with disabilities to valuable resources that will enable them to live productive, fulfilling lives.
Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Location: Remote work location, Work from home
Benefits: Holiday pay and paid time off
Pay: $13 an hour, 40 hours a week
Must be a positive, outgoing, approachable self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. These are peer support positions: Individual with a disability; a parent, caregiver and/or immediate family member of someone with a disability. Kentucky resident. Extensive knowledge and experience with IDEA (IEP, IFSP), disability rights, disability systems navigation, and inclusion. Must be able to travel statewide and have transportation to do so. Public speaking experience is required. Standard diploma or GED is required. Postsecondary education is a plus. Must have availability to work full-time, remotely, and stable internet access to do so. The positions require flexibility to work late evenings/nights and weekends as needed.
