Stella: [00:00:00] Oh, hey everyone, it’s Stella with Kentucky SPIN. Just wanted to take a few minutes and come to you and just share a little bit that’s on my heart right now. I know that we are all going through a lot of changes right now and, it’s really tough. Tough times for everyone, but we want to share a little theme with you all right now called act right,  do right.

And it’s something that we talked about on a staff call the other day, and we thought it would be good to share with everyone out there some things that, you know, maybe we’re struggling with here too, and you know, we are all uncertain about our future right now. There’s a lot of different things going on. You know, we’ve had loss of income. People are losing their jobs. We’re stuck at home, which to some could be a positive, but to others it could be a negative.

You know, just our routines are all different. People are saying this is the new normal, and, you know, I really hope that it’s not the new normal. [00:01:00] I want to get back to what, you know, what life was happening before. And so this is a difficult time for everyone, but you know, I wanna let you know that we’re doing the right thing and it’s our choice, to act right and do right. And even when the opportunity comes up where you think. Oh, well no one will know if we’re having a little gathering or no one will know if you know, we’re meeting on Easter together as a family.

But that’s where you have to begin to act right and do right. Because you may not be sick. You may not feel bad, but you could be a carrier, and that’s not what we want right now. We don’t want our folks that we love to be sick or we don’t want people that we don’t even know to get sick because we’re not acting right or doing right. So I think it’s real important now that we make wise choices and enjoy our time.

I’m sitting out here on my dock [00:02:00] right now. I’ve got ducks around me, my house, my family, the ones I love. I have an older son that’s living in Lexington right now and, and I haven’t got to see him, and that’s really hard for me, but I’m not going to go visit him right now because that is just not what’s best for him or for my family here.

It’s just not what’s best I’m trying to do right and act right and make good decisions. And, you know, some times we’re around people, our family and we get frustrated with them because we’re together all the time. But we need to be grateful. And I wanted to show you what’s on my shirt. It says, give hope.

Sunday is Easter and we at our church, do what’s called, forget the frock and we all buy shirts that support a missionary. And, so that’s what we’ve done. We’ve, you know, I’m wearing my shirt today and I’ll wear it Sunday and I’m going to worship and fellowship here with my family because I’m going to act right and I’m gonna do the right thing.

So we hope that you know, you are [00:03:00] safe. We hope that you are healthy. We hope that, if you need anything or need assistance or guidance during this time, please reach out to us here at Kentucky SPIN. Visit our website. Which is www dot kyspin dot com. We have some wonderful resources on there for you, but no matter what, stay healthy, be safe, do the right thing.

And remember, we’re all in this together and we will get through this.
