Hi, hope all is well. Disability Pride means something different to each of us, just as every person is uniquely gifted. To me, it is about celebrating our strengths, acknowledging our challenges, and working together to break down the stigma and barriers that individuals with disabilities and their families face every day.
It is about partnership, listening to one another, learning from one another, and leading with kindness, understanding, and respect.
Every person with a disability deserves to be valued, respected, and treated with dignity and integrity, just as every person does. When we embrace our differences and recognize the strengths each of us brings, we create stronger families, stronger communities, and a more inclusive world.
Together, we can make a difference, not only in our own lives, but in the lives of countless others.
With Love,
Rhonda Logsdon
