What is PALS?

PALS is a series of trainings presented and sponsored by Kentucky – Special Parent Involvement Network (KY-SPIN) providing leadership skills and learning opportunities to parents, caregivers, professionals, youth and adults with disabilities.

Training Topics Include: Reasons to Attend:
·         Leadership Styles and Roles ·         Increase your leadership and advocacy skills.
·         Effective Communication Strategies ·         Learn how to promote personal and systems change.
·         Sound Based Decision Making ·         Gather resources to share with families, youth, and professionals in your community.
·         Conflict Resolution ·         Meet like minded individuals who want to advocate and lead.
·         Advocacy ·         Build relationships with other’s in your community.
·         Collaboration/Partnership
