Parent Outreach
A program of the Council on Developmental Disabilities, Parent Outreach offers
periodic workshops on typical information that families of children/adult
children with disabilities will need to learn about through the years (early
education, school issues, waiver information, transition years, planning for the
future and more). Additionally, one-on-one support is extended for critical

Parents of Adult Autistic Children of Louisville (PAACLou)
is a support group for parents and caregivers of autistic adults living in
the Louisville and southern Indiana area. The purpose of the group is simply to
provide a time to get together, share our experiences, and try to figure out
“Where do we go from here?”

all ages. We are also seeking parents of older children who have these
challenges to come and provide information and serve as mentors to these
parents.
We are striving to provide a variety of locations and times in order to
meet everyone’s needs and time constraints.
Children welcome. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
We will be having drawings for door prizes and everyone will be getting
valuable resource information. Meeting location and times so far are:
